Documentation Resources
During the installation of Directory Proxy Server, the online help files are the only documentation copied to your disk. You may access the rest of the documentation in the following ways:

The latest documentation is always available on docs.sun.com.
You may view HTML versions of the books online or download the PDF file of any book in its entirety.
Full Documentation Set on the Product CD
If you obtained the Sun ONE Directory Proxy Server distribution on a product CD, you will find the HTML and PDF versions of all books in the topmost docs directory or folder on the CD. The index.html file at that location provides links to all formats of the documentation.
In order to access the documentation without the CD, we recommend copying all documentation files into your product installation:
- You will need about 15 MB of free disk space in the same location as Directory Proxy Server.
- Copy the entire contents of the docs directory on the CD, but not the directory itself, to the serverRoot/manual/locale/dps directory, where serverRoot is the path you chose for installation. Do not remove any of the files in the installation.
The index.html file will replace this file as the Documentation Home and provide links to all documentation.
