Smart Cards Used Check List
This list shows all smart card types currently activated for the OCF server.Check the smart card type that must be in the reader when the user tries to log in to the application. You can check more than one card type.
Authentications and Tags List
Use the Authentications list to define a value for the ocf.client.default.authmechanism property. This property governs the default authentication sequence used for all valid cards during login to the client application.
The card_name Authentications list shows available authentication mechanisms for the card type you selected from Smart Cards Used. The Tag list shows current tag values used for looking up information on the smart card type selected.
To Define the Default Authentication Sequence for the Valid Cards
- Define valid cards for the application by checking one or more smart card types from the Smart Cards Used list.
- Select a valid card type.
The card_name Authentications list shows PIN as the default authentication mechanism assigned by Solaris Smart Cards. The Tag column lists a lookup value assigned to the application.
- Press Add to display a combo box.
- Pull down on the arrow to display the authentication mechanisms active on the OCF server, and choose additional mechanisms, as needed.
The order of authentication mechanisms in the card_name Authentications list is the actual order of the authentication sequence tried when a user accesses this client application.
- Repeat this procedure for each card type selected as a valid card.
- Press Apply or OK to convey your choices to the OCF server.
Continue configuring the client by pressing the NEXT button.
